Elton John is soon to travel the UK on his final tour, hitting music venues from summer 2022.

On 24 January 2018, Elton John announced that he would embark on the three-year tour consisting of 300 concerts worldwide.

The tour’s name and poster references back to his 1973 album Goodbye Yellow Brick Road.

The tour began in Allentown, Pennsylvania, on 8 September 2018. At the end of the first part, it won Billboard Music Award in the category Top Rock Tour and according to the world’s leading magazine for concert and live music industry Pollstar, the tour has earned has grossed $358.6 million across 179 shows.

Elton John’s ambitious plans were postponed due to setbacks like COVID-19 pandemic and his long-lasting leg and hip injuries. He told his fans he did this with ‘great sadness’.

Recently, John collaborated with Dua Lipa, Years & Years, Rina Sawayama and Lil Nas X for new The Lockdown Sessions album.

The iconic British pop star gives his fans last chance to see him before his final retirement from touring.

His ‘Rocket Man’ journey is going across the UK, Europe, North America and Australia throughout 2022-2023. John speaks particularly fondly of places where he once been.
