ISEMOA seeks to improve accessibility of pedestrian, cyclist, and public transport services and facilities allowing citizens to adopt a less car-dependent life-style. The ISEMOA Quality Management System (ISEMOA QMS) closely examines the whole journey – from door-to-door. Each journey is composed of several elements that together make up the “mobility chain”. The ISEMOA QMS follows a structured quality management approach based on a moderated audit process. This proven approach, guided by an ISEMOA auditor, helps local and regional stakeholders to assess the level of accessibility of public space and public transport in their area, and it helps to develop strategies and measures for improving the accessibility work.
