Wednesday 9am - 5pm
Thursday 9am - 5pm
Friday 9am - 5pm

Closed for lunch 12pm - 1pm each day

Closed all day Saturday and Sunday and bank holidays

Biodiversity offsetting in England

The government has published a consultation document which sets out options for its proposed biodiversity offsetting system and poses questions about how the system may best operate. Under the new system developers would be allowed to go ahead with schemes in environmentally sensitive areas if they offset any damage by paying for conservation activities elsewhere.  Comments are requested by 7 November 2013.
