The Housing Forum has published a report which argues that consumers must be given better information about new homes, in order to raise industry standards. The report, prepared jointly by designers, clients, manufacturers, IT specialists and builders, also recommends the facilitation of custom build housing by local authorities though the use of land supply and local development orders.
