Covid made us all feel a bit blue at times, and with England heading into lockdown number two, it’s important to take care of each other now. I’ve compiled a list of little things you can do to help out.
Start atelephone friendship! Loneliness affects us all, and there are many people out there who would love to have a chat with someone, especially elderly people who haven’t been able to take visitors due to Covid.
Donate. Whatever you can – to your local charity shop or an organisation of your choice. Maybe even donate blood if you’re feeling very charitable.
Think about something special you can do for someone who can’t celebrate their birthday right now. Put all the ingredients for a cake in a box and put some confetti in there. Sending them a care package – or even just a card – will make their day!
Go grocery shopping for others who might not be able to go themselves for health related reasons. Check out the NHS volunteer responder app
