Manchester United are currently ranked 14th in the Premier League, they are also still missing two of their key players: Paul Pogba (26) and David de Gea (28).
The team played in the Europa League this Thursday 24th of October against the Belgrade team Partizan and managed to win 1-0.
Despite this success, the Red Devils delivered a mixed performance and the team faced some difficulties in the Premier League. Could the absence of the midfield player Pogba and goalkeeper De Gea be the reason for this lack of performance?
Pogba missed the seven last matches due to an ankle injury, which is a huge loss for the team. However, positive news for the goalkeeper, David de Gea, who suffered from a muscle abductors injury has recovered and might play the next game.
This Wednesday 30th of October, Chelsea will be receiving the team from Manchester for an important Premier League match. The big question is: Will the World Cup winner Pogba be able to make a comeback?
It is not clear for now if both of the players will be put in the line-up of Wednesday’s match taking place in Fulham, London. Former United manager David Moyes told talkSPORT about the importance of the star’s performance:
“Pogba is still Manchester United’s best midfield player”
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s who’s had differences with the French player and following the ongoing rumours of transfer to Real Madrid, Manchester United fans share mitigated opinions.
Will Paul Pogba make a come-back for the game against Chelsea?
Questions remain open.
