The transformation of what is to come is without a doubt inspiring however, the development that has taken place in the last decade is unmissable. With 7,000 new homes, 200 additional nursery places and over 8,000 new jobs, this is one project that is proving to be successful.

Stated in MyLondon News, Retail director of Quintain, Matt Slade, said: “This is one of the first times in the UK that shared spaces have been at the heart of the thinking on such a massive scale. We’re also creating facilities for the creative arts to flourish and for start-up businesses to prosper.”

We asked the public how they feel about the regeneration. Here’s what they had to say:

Here are a few places that you should check out when visiting Wembley Park:

  • London Designer Outlet – A semi outdoor shopping centre with 70 shops, 15 eateries/restaurants and a cinema. With everything being a fraction of the price, your sure to pick up a bargain.
  • BOXPARK – Eat. Drink. Play. The capital’s third street food and bar mall made from shipping containers. With over 25 different food vendors under one roof, even the fussiest eaters can’t resist.
  • Wembley Stadium – The ultimate football stadium with a capacity of 90,000. If you ever have the chance to watch a live match here, be sure to take it.
  • The SSE Arena – An indoor arena with a capacity of 12,500. This is one of the UK’s major entertainment venues used for music, comedy and family entertainment.
  • Wembley Park Market – A boutique-style market with all you need from; fashion, food, arts and crafts, and health and wellness. A truly unique experience with one of a kind products.
  • Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre – If you’re a theatre fanatic, this is the place to go. A brand new 1,000 – 2,000 seat capacity theatre right in the heart of Wembley. With McDonald’s next door, you’ll be singing: “I’m lovin’ it.”

The project of the entire regeneration of Wembley Park is due to be completed in 2027. Plans also include a brand-new park with a swimming lake, a huge gym and possibly a new music venue.

Stated in the Evening Standard, Retail director, Matt Slade said: “It’s about creating a place to live, a place to work, a place to shop regardless of what’s happening at the stadium.”
