The world may be on the edge of a transformative era, where the fusion of human skills and artificial intelligence is set to redefine the landscape of professional services. Some of our colleagues have stepped into the spotlight, putting forward a spectrum of ideas that may leverage generative AI to enhance their daily work.
Each idea will be thoroughly evaluated by a panel of senior colleagues looking to identify the initiatives to take forward. The goal is to support a series of pilot projects that will serve as a litmus test for the practicality and impact of AI assistants in our day-to-day operations.
The potential is clearly there. From streamlining administrative tasks to unlocking creative solutions for complex problems, generative AI offers much. As we embark on this journey, the University remains committed to fostering an environment where technology is a partner, not a replacement, empowering our staff to achieve more.
This blog will keep all updated on which pilots are taken forward, and then progress with them. The insights gained from these pilots will help define the path forward, helping to shape the future of professional services at Westminster.
