As the job market has become progressively competitive, it is becoming more and more important for students to gain relevant and practical experience before they graduate. Can your organisation support our students in providing ‘real world’ opportunities?
The University of Westminster prides itself on bringing together education and industry by promoting work-based learning initiatives. We have dedicated placement teams – as part of the Career Development Centre – based across all five of our faculties. We are eager to establish relationships with both small and larger organisations across the public and private sectors.
Our students are motivated to showcase their skills and to gain ‘hands on’ experience across a diverse range of disciplines including: Architecture; Biomedical Sciences; Business; Computer Science and Information Systems; Media Production; Creatives; Electronic Engineering; Events; Law; Social Sciences and Tourism.
Our work-based learning programmes vary in duration, from year-long placements to short-term work experience and project-based work. We encourage our students to be geographically flexible and welcome any opportunities, both nationally and internationally which you can provide. If you are able to assist with providing a work placement or are interested in finding out more, please visit our webpage or contact us via email at careers@westminster.ac.uk or phone 0207 911 5184.
