It has been another exciting and inspiring summer at Westminster, and I am delighted to reconnect with you as we celebrate the achievements of the past year and look ahead to all that is to come.
Firstly, congratulations to our newest graduates who have joined our Westminster Alumni community as the Class of 2026! It was a joy to celebrate your success at graduation and to see so many of you cross the stage surrounded by family, friends and supporters.
Graduation is always a special moment – a celebration of creativity, perseverance and ambition. As you begin your next chapter, remember that you are now part of a global Westminster community that will always be here to support you.
It has been a fantastic year across the University, with our campuses full of energy, ideas and activity. From outstanding student showcases to impactful research, inspiring events, thriving societies and our shared commitment to a more sustainable future, Westminster continues to make a positive difference across our communities.
A major milestone this year has been the opening of Zone29, our new home for careers and enterprise. This innovative physical and digital space connects Westminster’s diverse student and alumni talent with the world of business and the local community, helping to spark new jobs, enterprise and game-changing collaborations across Westminster, London and beyond.
I am particularly excited about what Zone29 means for our Alumni community. Your experiences, expertise and stories are some of our greatest strengths, and I encourage you to get involved – whether through mentoring, sharing your career journey, supporting opportunities or inspiring students and recent graduates as they take their next steps.
We are so proud of all of you – our Alumni – wherever you are in the world and whatever you go on to achieve. You remain a vital part of our Westminster story and future.
