Work with other students on a real-life consultancy project with a UK business, charity or social enterprise, part of the University of Westminster community.

The WCCP gives you the opportunity to work in a team solving a problem faced by charities and social enterprises within the UK. Gain paid experience working with a client whilst receiving support from a University of Westminster super visor. You’ll get started at the launch training session, have pre-arranged client meetings to keep you on track, and then present your findings and recommendations to the client. You’ll be paid £12.47 per hour on-completion of your project.

Participants on this programme must have good availability for training, client meetings and teamwork during standard office hours, 9am-5pm Monday – Friday during the programme dates. Please make sure you are eligible and can commit to this time before applying. Reasonable adjustments will be made at each stage of the recruitment process for any candidate with a disability, mental health condition or caring responsibility. If you are successfully shortlisted to group assessment stage, you’ll be given further details about programme timings.

Will WCCP be on campus or online?
A mixture of both – the training sessions and the team meetings will be on-campus. The client meetings will depend on the preference of your client. The independent team project work time can be on campus or online according to your team preference.
Upon successful completion, WCCP can count towards your Westminster Employability Award.
