Earlier today the stunning model Lais Ribeiro was announced as this year’s Fantasy Bra girl. As soon as the exciting news came out, they spread really fast on social media.
First to spot the leaked information was Vogue Australia. But later today it was officially confirmed by Victoria’s Secret and covered in details by various publications, such as Vogue, Harper’s BAZAAR, etc.
Ribeiro herself also shared a photo on Instagram, looking perfect in the Champagne Nights Fantasy Bra. And as we can see she is more than excited and thankful to be chosen for the role.
As far as we know, the model did not know anything until she went for the fitting. Moreover, this is only her second year as an official Angel, so we can imagine how amazing that surprise must have felt.
The so-called “Champagne Nights” Fantasy Bra is designed by Mouawad and is worth two million dollars. For its make are used diamonds, yellow sapphires, and blue topaz in 18 karat gold and the result is breathtaking.
Lais Ribeiro stands out not only with her stunning appearance but also with an extremely successful career. Only two years after the start of her career she was considered as the most booked runway model and until today she managed to keep her position among the world’s best models. With less than 10years within the modelling business the Brazilian beauty has a long list of great achievements and being the VS Fantasy Bra girl is the latest but surely not the last.
We think that the honour is well-deserved and look forward to seeing Ribeiro wear the beautiful piece of art at the show, which will be held in less than a month in Shanghai.
