Team Up is looking for Westminster’s brightest students to join a nationally-recognised leadership development programme alongside their degree, which equips them with the skills to change the lives of school pupils in their community.
You will complete an accredited qualification, the Certificate in Leading Educational Impact, which recognises your commitment to inspiring weekly tuition, and consists of rigorous training in five professional competencies, including leadership, management and communication.
These skills will be then developed over a challenging school-based placement, where you will tutor a small group of secondary school pupils, committing no more than 90 minutes of your time each week towards improving the grades and inspiring the minds of young people in a London school. Tuition will take place either in the school on a weekday afternoon between Monday and Thursday, or on a Saturday morning/early afternoon.
As well as empowering pupils to academic excellence, we are working to find and develop students who are capable of taking on challenging graduate roles. You will have the opportunity to receive professional mentoring, networking opportunities, fast-tracking to competitive internship/graduate scheme interviews and master classes. Of course, the experience you gain with Team Up can also serve as the ideal springboard to a teaching career.
If you think you have what it takes to become a Rising Leader, and want to receive the training and the tools to inspire a new generation of leaders, then apply online
