My name is Apple and I come from China. I am so lucky to get the opportunity to being an academic visitor in Westminster Business School in 2013, and I’m so appreciative and grateful to study and work in such a well-known and fantastic university. During this year, I studied project management in Department of Business Information Management & Operations. I have been totally attracted by the courses which Westminster Business School has set and the interesting teaching offered by all the outstanding teachers.
The courses in Westminster Business School are reasonable and practical which are very useful for the future job. The professors and lecturers are knowledgably and full of abundant teaching experience. Almost each course has two parts such as lecture and seminar. You can learn the theory of your major and at the same time abundant practical activities help you to understand and make well use of what you have learned. In the class, every student is very active and thinkable and the teacher guide us to understand and learn so that I always feel I have got a lot of knowledge in one single class. What’s more, in Westminster Business School, there are lots of professional and short courses such as Agile PM, M_O_R,MSP, PRINCE2 foundation and practitioner, etc, which provide significant chances for all the students studying at Westminster Business School.
I am also fond of the location and all the advanced facilities in Westminster Business School. The campus is located on Baker Street, in central London, which is very convenient to go everywhere in London from campus. The clean and tidy classrooms are equipped with many advanced teaching facilities. The place I like most is the library, which contains plenty of books and journals and a wonderful space for group work and silent study.
Westminster Business School is a generous opening to the outside world. As an academic visitor, it offered me a lot of opportunities and help to study and work here. I can imagine how considerate and kindly it provides to its own students. There are a lot of international students in Westminster Business School, which is beneficial to all of us to learn and understand different culture and way of thinking and to get to know the whole world. In my mind, Westminster Business School is not only a good place to study, but also a small global world to think, to feel, and to improve ourselves. One year is a little bit short to study here.
If I could choose, I would prefer to study here for at least two years, because it will help you to fully understand the British culture, to get used to the life in London, while to have enough time to study and to improve in Westminster Business School. I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Westminster Business School for all the things I have learned here and for all the kindness and help this beautiful school has offered me. I hope I can come back to study here again one day in the future.
