WHAT IS MENTORING?
Mentoring is a two-way relationship which meets a professional development need. A mentor facilitates personal and professional growth in an individual by sharing the knowledge and insights that have been learned through the years. Simply put, mentors are people who help others to succeed.
· We will match you with a senior professional from your field of expertise to give you an insight into British working practices and policies.
· Mentors volunteer their time to share their knowledge and experiences of work and the industry with students who have an interest in their field of experience.
· Our mentors typically offer 3 hours of their time over a 3 month period to one of our Postgraduate/MBA students. In addition, to one-to-one meetings you are encouraged to keep in touch over email and telephone.
· Mentoring is not an internship nor an offer of employment
The PG and MBA Mentoring Programme will run from January – March 2014
