Dr Steve Ingham inspires the University of Westminster Elite Athlete Programme members

On Monday, March 3, Dr Steve Ingham spoke on behalf of IHUL to members of the University of Westminster’s Student Union (UWSU), Elite Athlete Programme (EAP).

Dr Ingham, a world-class sports physiologist and trainer to Olympic and international-level athletes, gave a presentation to EAP student-athletes showcasing his offerings and how he helps athletes. Overseeing IHUL’s science-backed performance and wellbeing services, Dr Ingham and the IHUL team will work with student-athletes to help them realise and achieve their performance, training, fitness, well-being, and overall goals.

Designed for the University of Westminster’s highest-performing student-athletes, the EAP provides support and resources to help athletes achieve their training and performance goals. Coordinated by Phoebe Hayden, a sports development coordinator at UWSU, Dr Ingham’s presentation provided valuable insight into IHUL’s range of services and and explored the athletes individual requirements and goals. IHUL’s delivery of this enhanced service to the EAP members has been enabled through the kind sponsorship of the Quintin Hogg Trust (https://quintinhoggtrust.org/).
