This February is #EmployabilityMonth at the University of Westminster! Running until March 6, the University’s Career Development Centre, Alumni team and your Students’ Union will be holding a host of presentations, workshops, guest speakers and fairs, to help you to kick start your career!

Introducing the Business Experience Team

Before we get to the events on offer, a short introduction to the Business Experience Team (BET) of Westminster Business School. Based in the Registry Office on Marylebone campus, BET works hard to organise Placements, Internships, Mentoring Schemes and skill development and networking events throughout the year. For those of you who have yet to meet the team, we have: Bonita Danso (Senior Co-ordinator BET) Iweta Baran (Internships Coordinator) Jaspreet Singh, (Business Placements Coordinator), and Sharon Boateng (PG Programmes Coordinator).

So, what can you sign up to this month? You can find all of the events on the University’s careers portal ‘Engage‘, and the Engage Placement Seekers site but a few that we thought it would be good to highlight include:

There will also be an NHS Placement session for 2^nd Year UG Placement seekers on 10 February 2.00-3.30pm MG28 and you can find more about this on the careers portal, Engage.

Expert Advice Clinic: CVs, Covering Letters and careers questions

Get FREE expert advice on your CV/Cover Letter/ other career related queries from our knowledgeable Careers Consultants. In addition, top industry experts will be on hand to offer you top tips for breaking into the industry of your choice.

There is no pre-booking required for this event, just show up on the day for a 10 minute drop in and indicate what advice you would like or an individual you would like to speak to! The session will be on Wednesday 2 March 2:30-4:30pm in MG28.
