Every year we aim to gather as a steering group, in-person and outside of our institutions for an away day dedicated to reflection, relationship building and being present together.
This year, we held two away days after the Festival of Decolonial Learning. We were joined by our research interns, international guests and colleagues from across other universities in the UK.
We commissioned independent artist, Raquel Durán, to illustrate the conversations, ideas and connections that happened across the two days.
The project would like to personally thank the following individuals for their presence and support:
Tanveer Ahmed, Thilakshi Mallawa Arachchi, Pierre Bartin, Mia Bates, Delso Batista, Ipshita Basu, Sadie Beaton, Gabriella Viana Brasileiro, Melissa Charifo, Jenna Condie, Kelsea Costin, Eva Crowson, Rifa Ferzana, Himalaya Kishorkumar Gohel, Mrinalini Greedharry, Sara Hafeez, Naseem Joban, Zamara Khan, Alex Khasnabish, Lonceny Kourouma, Jo Krishnakumar, Annapurna Memon, Ajay Parasram, Kora-Belle Rajcevic, Tamara Reid, Lucas Ross, Tashi Samuels, Sharon Stein and Yahlnaaw
