One of the key principles of DEN is engaging students with their local and global communities. To achieve this, DEN has built links with several organisations, universities and communities around the world.
Our partners
DEN has collaborated with several prestigious international universities, including Hanoi University in Vietnam, Kasetsart University in Thailand, Kocaeli and Batman Universities in Turkey, and the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru. Our field trips to Georgia, Vietnam, Thailand, Turkey, and Uzbekistan have been incredible opportunities to engage students with diverse cultures and expand our global perspective. We are excited about what the future holds for our students as we continue to foster meaningful partnerships and experiences.
Higher Education Institutions provide a unique opportunity for students from all over the world to come together, share knowledge, and collaborate regardless of their geographical locations. To facilitate this, we have arranged field trips and exchanges with other institutions such as Hanoi University in Vietnam, Kasetsart University in Thailand, Westminster International University in Tashkent, Kocaeli and Batman University in Turkey. Our students have played an integral part in designing projects and modules with the help of various academics.
Moreover, DEN has also built relationships with different organisations such as the United Nations Development Programme, the International Red Cross and the European Organisation for Nuclear Research (CERN) and Race on the Agenda.
DEN believes that global citizens should also engage with their local communities, and hence we develop partnerships with several organisations in London to strengthen the university’s work in its local community. We aim to engage our students, to develop their understanding of history, politics and social condition, as well as their skills to manage and communicate in a real and meaningful situation.

Hopetown's community
Hopetowns works with asylum seeking individuals in London. The initial contact started in 2018 and since then there have been various visits between community leaders, academics, students and refugee both in the community centre and at the University of Westminster.
Baraka Youth Association
The Somali community in London providing support for integration and success of BME communities. They support educational attainment, opportunities for personal development and access to mainstream society.
Halkevi - Turkish and Kurdish Community Centre
Located in East London attempt to tackle inequalities and social isolation. They provide advice and training to local residents.
Thanks to the commitment of our alumni, we have been able to engage with their current projects, providing internship opportunities and mentoring to our current members in organisations like Sonaaar.
