The University of Westminster International University in Tashkent field trip to Uzbekistan was to develop students’ cross-cultural interactions and teamwork skills.
Throughout the trip, students will have exclusive access to local officials, community leaders, and activists. They will also participate in a range of workshops and seminars, designed to deepen their understanding of the political, economic, and social landscape of Turkey and the Middle East.
During the trip, students visited several historical and cultural sites, including Registan Square, Samarkand, and Bukhara, and had the opportunity to explore Uzbekistan’s rich cultural heritage, architecture, and cuisine.
The itinerary also included interactive sessions with local students and experts, where the students learned about Uzbekistan’s education system and cultural practices, shared their own experiences, and engaged in discussions to broaden their perspectives.
