When a student accesses the submission tool for the first time, the Panopto assignment folder is created automatically.

Students’ uploaded or recorded videos are initially placed in this folder, where they can make edits and changes.

Once the student inserts the video into their Blackboard assignment and clicks Submit, the video is moved into a “Student Submission” subfolder.

In that folder, students have view-only access: they cannot delete or change the video. This ensures academic integrity.

Students only see their own videos. No student can see another’s work.
