Managing MS Teams Meeting Permissions
When creating a Microsoft Teams meeting link via the basic integration in Blackboard, you can configure the meeting permissions. This can be done when creating the meeting.
When creating the Teams link, click on Meeting Options to configure the settings.
The recommended option for the lobby is People in my org and guests. This ensures that students signed into their University accounts can bypass the lobby when they open the Teams link.
Alternatively, you can select Everyone, which allows all participants to bypass the lobby, regardless of whether they are signed into Teams with their University account.
In the Roles section, the default setting allows Everyone to present. If you prefer that students do not have the ability to share their screens, you will need to select Only organizers and co-organizers as the presenters.
