How to get the best out of Panopto
1 - Introduction
Panopto is the University’s video platform.
+ Using a web browser you can view panopto videos at: westminster.cloud.panopto.eu
or via Blackboard.
2 - Download the App
Download the Panopto app from the respective app stores for mobile devices.
+ Within the app, you will have access to all the videos that has been shared with you.
+ There is the option to download recordings which you can then watch offline and on the go.
+ Downloading from Apple App Store
+ Downloading from Google Play Store

3 - Smart Search
+ You can instantly find and fast forward to any word spoken or shown on-screen, in any recording.
4 - Notes
Panopto’s note taking ability gives you the ease of typing out notes on the video on the same page as you watch.
+ Your notes will appear time-stamped right along with the part of the video that corresponds with it.
+ Additionally, any note you take will become searchable.
5 - Bookmarks
Bookmarks allow you to save a particular spot in a recording to revisit at a later time.
+ Bookmarks will also show up in your search results.
