Democratic Engagement in an International Context, 2024

DEN’s module has continued to foster innovation through collaboration with notable projects at the University of Westminster and partnerships with Hanoi University. This initiative aims to develop students’ knowledge and skills over 11 weeks of hybrid teaching, combining in-person and online learning from Hanoi University. Academic staff and students have worked together to deliver lectures and workshops.
To enhance educational experiences, the program includes a field trip to Vietnam, allowing students to immerse themselves in the local culture and apply their learning in a real-world context. The collaboration emphasises sharing knowledge and resources, fostering cross-cultural exchanges, and providing students with unique opportunities for hands-on learning and professional development in an international setting. Additionally, students will present a paper at the international student conference organised by Hanoi University.
