Democratic Engagement in an International Context
The “Democratic Engagement in an International Context” module is tailored for second-year undergraduates enrolled in the University of Westminster’s College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences. It is a cross-collaboration between the Centre for Education and Teaching Innovation (CETI) and Education, Diversity, and Equality, international universities in Thailand, Vietnam, and Turkey. The goal of this course is to equip students with a comprehensive understanding of cross-cultural research and its significance on a global scale.
While in Thailand, students will have the unique opportunity to engage with community leaders, local officials, and activists who are passionate about promoting democratic values. They will also attend informative seminars and workshops to gain a better understanding of the political, economic, and social landscape of Thailand.
