Microsoft Teams for Blackboard (Ultra Courses)

Microsoft Teams is now available via your Blackboard ULTRA course site. The integration allows instructors to create a Teams meeting link and is made available to all enrolled users on the course to join the meeting via the link.
Please Note, this will not create a calendar entry on your Outlook or MS Teams Calendar.
Students will also not get an invite via email; it only creates the meeting link on your course/module site and also on the Stream for students to join the session by copying and pasting the link to a web browser.
Launching Teams (Ultra)
1) Under Details & Actions select Books & Tools
2) Under the Books & Course Tools menu on the right-hand side, select Microsoft Teams

Create a Teams Meeting
1) Once you have entered the LTI, select Create Meeting Link

2) You will be prompted to name the Meeting and specify what time it  starts and finishes, then select Create.

3) Once The meeting has been created, select Add to Calendar. This meeting will then appear in the Module’s Calendar Page.
4) To join a meeting, go back to the Module Content Page, find the meeting and click on the title.

5) To join the meeting, you will be given 3 options – Download the App, use browser or open Teams app.
