Microsoft Teams is a real-time video and audio conferencing tool that enables you to share files, collaborate on applications, use a virtual whiteboard, and engage with students and colleagues online.
For the best experience, we recommend downloading the Microsoft Teams desktop application. Please ensure you use your University Microsoft 365 account and avoid the personal version of Teams (Teams Home), as it does not include many of the features required for teaching and learning.
Alternatively, you can join Teams meetings through a web browser. We recommend using Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome to ensure full functionality. Safari and Firefox are not supported for all Teams features and may cause issues when joining meetings or using tools such as breakout rooms, polls, and the whiteboard.
This guide is intended for instructors only.
If you are a student, please refer to the Microsoft Teams guide for students.
