With Cycling@Tea-time having been in existence for many years, it was high time for Walking@Tea-time. So, in partnership with London Living Streets, we at the Active Travel Academy have set it up.
Our launch took place on 28th May 2020 and addressed two questions: why is walking the poor cousin of transport policy? And what can we do about it? We enjoyed intelligent, thoughtful and inspiring contributions from Steve Gooding (Director of the RAC Foundation), Phil Jones (Chairman of Phil Jones Associates) and Maria Vassilakou (former Deputy Mayor of Vienna).
