Non-Academic Careers in Higher Education Panel

There are many routes that your career path can take after you complete your PhD. In this session we have invited panel members with different roles within Higher Education to share their career paths and give us insights into non-academic roles with Higher Education. There will be a hosted Q&A section and an opportunity for the attendees to ask their questions as well.

Panel Members:
Dr Nicola Allett – Doctoral Researcher Development Manager, University of Westminster. Her PhD was in Sociology (Extreme Metal Music Community.
Dr Thierry Delaitre – Head of IT Developments, University of Westminster. His PhD was in Parallel Computing.
Dr Philippa Grand – Head of Publishing, LSE Press. Her PhD was in Moden British History (Leisure in Britain between the wars).
Dr Henry Wong – Research Development Manager, University of Westminster. His PhD was in Neuroscience (Molecular).
